Advancing Technique & Elevating Performance
Class is designed for advanced intermediate dancers ready to refine their technical abilities and elevate their performance quality. At this level, students will deepen their understanding of classical ballet vocabulary, applying it with precision and confidence both at the barre and in the center.
Classes will focus on more complex turns, jumps, and combinations. Dancers will work on strengthening their placement, refining lines, and increasing coordination, while continuing to develop artistry and expressive presence. They are reminded regularly that every class is a performance — and that every movement is an opportunity to communicate with purpose and grace.
Emphasis remains on correct body alignment, core engagement, use of épaulement, and intentional port de bras. Musicality, stamina, and clean execution are key goals throughout the year.
By the end of B8, students will be able to:
- Execute double pirouettes en dehors and en dedans
- Perform consistent battu in jumps
- Master step-over pirouettes
- Complete 4–8 fouetté turns in the center
This level prepares dancers for pre-professional training and advanced repertoire, supporting the transition toward elite-level technique and stage readiness.
